Rapix includes of a full suite of software for commissioning and monitoring of DALI hardware.
Commissioning software is available to download and use, free of charge, from the manufacturer website:
- RAPIX Addressing – a simple, fast tool for DALI Short Addressing, ideal for use with a uDID (aka “Red Box”)
- RAPIX Integrator – a professional tool for commissioning a complete RAPIX Lighting System. It includes all the functionality of RAPIX Addressing, and adds management of RAPIX device firmware, a development environment for writing zone controller logic, includes floor plans, a DALI debugger, and much more.
in addition, the following are free to download but require a modest one-off licence fee to use (evaluation licences are available on request):
- RAPIX Facilities – a fully featured package for monitoring your lighting, including automated emergency testing and reporting
- RAPIX Desktop / Touch – a graphical user interface for controlling lighting on a PC or suitable Windows-based handheld device
External Connectivity
RAPIX Zone Controllers can communicate with BMS, SCADA and other systems, using the following protocol options (there are no additional purchase or licence fees for these)
- Modbus
- MQTT
- BACnet
- RAPIX API (note that use of the API is subject to a non-disclosure agreement)
- Control4 (requires a free driver download, available from the manufacturer website)
